Trawalla Primary School is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. This will be the primary focus of our care and decision-making.
The purpose of this policy is to explain to our school community the non-delegable duty of care obligations that all staff at Trawalla Primary School owe to our students and members of the school community who visit and use the school premises.
Our Child Safety Code of Conduct sets out the expected behaviour of adults with children and young people in our school.
All Trawalla Primary School staff, volunteers, contractors, service providers, school council members and any other adult involved in child-connected work must follow the Child Safety Code of Conduct.
The purpose of this policy is to outline the procedures our school has in place to respond to complaints or concerns relating to child abuse and to ensure that all staff and members of our school community understand and follow the various legal obligations that apply to the reporting of child abuse to relevant authorities.
Trawalla Primary School is looking forward to another great year of teaching and learning and would like to advise you of Trawalla Primary School’s voluntary financial contributions for 2024.
The purpose of this policy is to:
• ensure all children of compulsory school age are enrolled in a registered school and attend school every day the school is open for instruction
• ensure students, staff and parents/carers have a shared understanding of the importance of attending school
• explain to school staff and parents the key practices and procedures Example School has in place to
o support, monitor and maintain student attendance o record, monitor and follow up student absences.
When responding to bullying behaviour, Trawalla Primary School aims to:

This policy is to ensure the Trawalla Primary School community understands our school’s approach to first aid for students.
This policy is to explain to Trawalla Primary School parents, carers, staff and students the processes and procedures in place to support students diagnosed as being at risk of suffering from anaphylaxis. This policy also ensures that Trawalla Primary School is compliant with Ministerial Order 706 and the Department’s guidelines for anaphylaxis management.
This policy is to explain to parents/carers, students and staff the processes Trawalla Primary School will follow to safely manage the provision of medication to students while at school or school activities, including camps and excursions.
This policy is to ensure that Trawalla Primary School provides appropriate support to students with health care needs, and explain to parents, carers, staff and students the processes and procedures in place to support students with health care needs at school.
This policy aims to provide a safe and secure learning and teaching environment for students and staff by establishing processes to monitor and manage visitors to Trawalla Primary School.
The purpose of this policy is to:
• provide an outline of the complaints process at Trawalla Primary School so that students, parents and members of the community are informed of how they can raise complaints or concerns about issues arising at our school
• ensure that all complaints and concerns regarding Trawalla Primary School are managed in a timely, effective, fair and respectful manner.
The purpose of this policy is to explain to parents/carers:
• how Trawalla Primary School collects, uses and discloses photographs, video and recordings of
students
• when parent/carer consent is required before photographing, filming and recording students
• how consent can be provided and withdrawn.

During the school year there are many occasions and events where staff may photograph, film or record students participating in school activities and events
